Practice what you preach

Writer's picture: Anna Willems Anna Willems

Practice what you preach, it's one of my core values. But honestly, sometimes it can be hard when autopilots, environment, laziness or a work overload are taking over. To make sure that I practice what I preach, I make time for it.

I take time to re-connect with my story. Before every training, workshop or talk I always take 1 or 2 hours to work on my state. How's my energy? And how can I make sure that my energy is good for a group? Is my energy aligned with where I talk about? Why am I talking about this topic? And when did I experience the power of this topic myself for the last time? Maybe I can even experience it right before I host my workshop or masterclass, right?

One of the topics related to curiosity is happiness at and in the workspace. A couple of days ago I took my own work happiness to an other level before hosting my workshop "Happy work". Curious how? Watch the movie.

Do you practice what you preach? And how do you bring it back, when autopilots, environment, laziness or a work overload are taking over?

Curious minds lead the future; we ignite them

What if:
We see challenges as adventures? We learn, unlearn and relearn? Try to understand the ones we don't? Challenge the status quo? Play more? Dare to make mistakes? Do what we fear? Doubt openly? What if? What if?
